Panting the Background

Slowly I added the bacground with first getting a real photo of an airfield and cut and paste on my painting. Its very easy to do. They sky colour is actual colour that you can copy from another photo. Just fill in the colour into the blank spot at the background. The trees also are all real photo that I cut and paste.

Painting Almost there...

Today I posted a couple more of images how I painting the step-by-step nearly whole fuselage of the aircraft. Do it slowly to minimized any mistake but then painting with computer is really flexible any mistake you can undo instantly...whew!. Most important always save your works as frequent as you can.

Paint the Colour

Slowly I painted the whole fuselage. The only problem is finding a colour matching the original paint on the aircraft. What I'll do is very simple, I use the original photo from elsewhere and get the colour chips from it using the tools available in Photo Paint 6. Since I'll do it the way you do it with normal medium, its very slow process and could take hours to complete such task.

Step-by Step Painting using Photo Paint 6

I'm sorry you might don't like it, but I'm actually here just to show how I did it step-by-step and how I'm finished my earlier painting using Photo Paint 6, I'm not going to show off or something . Okay, firstly the above aircraft diagram I got it from somewhere else and I cleaned it until it looked nice.
Then the above painting shown how I'm starting to add colour onto the front part of the aircraft just like you do with normal painting. Paint it bit by bit until completed. I'll really love Photo Paint 6, I can paint like normal painting medium, be it like watercolour, crayon and oil paint or paint like you used your old favourite DPaint II on the Amiga computer. I'll continue in the coming post, stay tune...

Another Souped up Painting to your taste

This is a same aircraft painting that I'd used Photo Paint 6 tools to duplicate the aircraft and paint again the background. I's so easy with Photo Paint 6, but sadly I can't do it anymore with it. As I said before its getting corrupted over time so I'll never installed it anymore on Win XP.
I'll really missed her...

Another painting using Photo Paint 6

The painting above done using old Corel Photo Paint 6 in Windows 95. It's cost me around 176 bucks in 1997. Now I didn't used it anymore, since when I installed it on Windows XP it's will get corrupt over time. So I gave up and never installed again. By the way I love it very much, there is so many tools to choose from. The above painting is blending of painting and real photo. Firstly, the aircraft, I get it from a black and white photo by using the Edge Detect special effect to obtain an outline of the image. The emblem and insignia all copied from another photo, while the aircraft have to be painted manually. After completed the painting of the aircraft I merged it with photo of the an airfield.

The painting above is before adding undercarriage and airfield.

My Painting Complete Already..

Nearly there putting the touch there and here, it's little hard because using a mouse , always make a mistake and undo and redo..

Okay, it's complete. It's not that inspiring. I'm not show off or anything, you can do better than me. (Actually the sketches is from a book " A brush with Ashley- A watercolourist's workbook by Ashley Jackson, I love his style although I never try it on actually on this medium and only now itself I try it using a computer program that's ArtRage)

I love to paint landscape

Here another my early simple painting while first time using ArtRage. Its so simple just paint like you used traditional painting tool that you have in your possession, thats if you love painting. Either watercolour or oil base painting you can mess around with it until you satisfied. I'm not really proud of the painting above, but just only for example for you to motivate and keep learning the trade of using ArtRage. I'll think you can do more better than me..Okay.

My first Simple Painting with ArtRage

Well, above is my first simple painting while I drooling with ArtRage for first time. While getting
used to the style of the tools and workspace. I found it its very easy to draw and to accessing all the tools, although its very hard to control the brush precisely using a mouse namely if you get used to used real brushes, but with a little bit of practice I'll think you can.
As I said before there is another alternative, Artrage supported Wacom Tablet, with this tools
you can draw more easily like a real drawing on a canvas, I'll think, because I never have a an
opportunity to try one!. So what are you waiting for try it, I'll think you love it, that's if you love
drawing!.

Simply ArtRage!

This simple painting above is paint and draw using ArtRage 2.0, the first free edition. ArtRage 2.0 is very simple, stylish, and fun painting package that gives you realistic tools in an easy to use interface. Paint with oils, sketch with pencils, chalks, and crayons, sprinkle metallic glitter on your paintings and more. ArtRage 2.0 also supports multiple transparent layers, PSD files, layer blend modes, and a variety of other features for the professional artist. Although its fun to used, I'll think its best if you use Wacom Tablet to draw and and paint if you can afford one. For me I can't afford one so I used my mouse intensively. Now in version ArtRage 2.5 Starter Edition is free and can be download at no cost.

Photofiltre - Simple Image Editor

Photofiltre is a freeware program , that means you can download for free, although its a basic and simple to use image editor but for me the most important its suit my pocket well. I can't
afford well, those expensive Photoshop although it has more power and tool in her disposal.

This image retouching program allows you to adjust an image and apply filters. Filters allow you to adjust brightness, contrast, dyed, saturation, gamma correction, and also artistic filters include watercolor, pastels, Indian ink, pointillism and puzzle effect. PhotoFiltre uses two types of selection tools. The first type uses automatic shapes - rectangle, ellipse, triangle, rhombus. The second type is a lasso and polygon tool. They both allow a customized form by drawing a shape by hand or using a series of lines. Every selection can be saved as a separate file.

I have try every freeware program available and also bought one commercial program that cost
around 160 Bucks, we'll see it later. By the way here another of my painting using Photofiltre.

I love to draw using a computer

One of the reason I bought a computer in 1986 is to used it for drawing. Although at that time computer a limit to 8 colour but its a milestones for me to appreciate a digital drawing for a first time. Then when I got my first 16Bit computer with a 256 colour in palette thats Commodore Amiga 500, although its having 16 million of colours only 32 available for drawing. But it didn't deter users come out with amazing fine arts and drawing!. Nowday Amiga is obsolete and I myself didn't have any of its drawing left in possession, all gone for good. Now in PC era you'll can get a drawing or painting program at no cost at all. Although you can buy the best one in the market but its sufficient to used the freeware or program that company allowed for its distribution. For a starter, my drawing shown up there using a freeware program called a Photofiltre its a basic image editor but for me its okay.
